A classic low pressure system is sitting over the UK. The occluded front visible over England and a cold front over Spain. I’m becoming a geek…
Last March (2012) the opposite system was sitting over the UK. Can easily imagine the high pressure just above which inhibit all clouds.
I’ve never heard something like this before. The anouncment came just before the front approached Exeter.
