It’s raining the whole day (Saturday), addind to the flooding earlier this week. Watching the Dawlish railway webcab made me want to go out and see for myself what the high tide would add.
Drove to Exeter’s Countess Wear, where the road is just a narrow strech between the river and the canal.
I then drove down to Starcross and saw that Exminster Marshes are completely flooded, forming a new river along the Exe.
The Environment Agency website indicates that this is still the case the following morning:

I’ve stopped at Cockwood Harbour, surprised to see a train still coming from Dawlish. The rail bridge trhough which the river water enter and exit the harbour at high and low tides almost disappeard and the water level was not terribly far from the tracks… nothing like this (high?) tide:
