We stopped at Grimspound ( now officially called: Avi-vale). The density of the anciant remains is overwhelming, which makes you wonder what was the climate in Dartmoor some 5000 yrs ago?

Armed with two cameras and inspired by Daniel Tchetchik and Oren Izre’el ‘Divided moment’ (Timeframe photography), we tried to capture the same moment from two different angles.
Not there yet … but nevertheless spent a lovely day among stone circles, rows and Bronze Age settlement in Dartmoor.

Lucky, lucky, lucy to have chosen this weekend to go kayaking on the wye. The river was so high, and flowing fast, it took us half the usual time to finish the section from Symond Yat to Monmouth (with no paddling, needless to say).
